In the spirit of open communication and transparency,  the following email has been sent to the entire Board of Directors and Management of LCHS. Granted 2/3 of the present board are not familiar with the concept of  open and transparent, but one would hope that they will take advantage of the opportunity to become knowledgeable in a subject about which they obviously know so little.

I for one shall  not be holding my breath…..

NO KILL ST CATHARINES
PUBIC INFORMATION EVENING
NOVEMBER 20TH, &30 PM
RUSSELL AVENUE COMMUNITY CENTER
It is with the best interests of our community in mind, that of the people and the animals that you are invited to join us to learn the truth and the myths surrounding the No Kill Equation, how it is implemented, monitored, and the anticipated results. This meeting is open to the public, for all to attend and accept this opportunity have a constructive dialogue with those who truly care about animals and how to STOP THE KILLING.

No Kill St Catharines is hosting a public meeting, November 2oth at 7:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the Russell Avenue Community Center, 108 Russell Avenue, St. Catharines, ON, L2R 7N5.

Speakers include Bill LeFeuvre, Director of Development, No Kill Nation, Inc., and Tom Manney, Vice-President, LCHS Board of Directors.

Topics will include No Kill myths and facts, as well as current board and management issues at the Lincoln County Humane Society. Time will be allotted for a Q&A session to address any questions and concerns from the community.

Please join us. Bring a friend, family member or neighbor. And share this message so that more people are aware. This is how we will effect change at the shelter. Come speak out for those who cannot.
